And yet…

Despite all this intelligence, something’s missing in the rooms where the big decisions are made:

Emotional intelligence.

Let’s be real:

Most executive leaders were trained to optimize systems, manage risk, and scale performance. But they were never taught how to lead humans through uncertainty—let alone their own emotions.

So now they’re stuck. Not because they’re falling behind in tech. But because they’re still trying to lead like machines in a human system.

We’re seeing it everywhere:

  • Burned-out teams with no energy
  • Silent meetings where innovation dies
  • Emotionless cultures confused why no one takes ownership
  • CEOs and leaders are frustrated that they’re the only ones who care

And then… When people finally do show emotion?

We label it “too much.” Too sensitive. Too dramatic. Too emotional.

And we wonder why engagement is low.

Because when leaders tell their people to leave emotion out of business… They’re telling them to leave their energy, passion, and drive at the door.
